HOMECOMING!!!
I'm sure by now most of y'all know that Jeff is back from Afghanistan!!! We are so happy to have him back in Texas! Here are some pictures from the 1st Battalion 23rd Marines Welcome Home Event at Ellington Field on Oct. 1st!

Update from Jeff
Here are some photos Jeff sent me this weekend. The battalion that will be replacing the 1/23 will be in Afghanistan soon and so that means Jeff will be home soon!!! I will be flying to California at the end of September to see him and he should be back in Texas by October! It's crazy to think that it has been a year since all this started. Looking back it went by fast but in the moment it was definitely not! Thanks again for everyone's prayers and support. We will let you know when Jeff is back for good!!!

| Jeff at a Change of Command ceremony for the Bahrain military. Their little area on Camp Leatherneck is called Camp Safra. |

| Bahrain Special Security Force, Company #3, the were replaced by Company #4. They are like a special police force under the Ministry of the Interior for the Kingdom of Bahrain. Jeff said that whats significant about them being on Camp Leatherneck is that they're Muslim. |

| Jeff with Samir, he was the Bahrain admin PFC. Jeff said he pretty much ran the show for the Bahrainians. Most of their officers are royalty and don't do to much. |
